01 / SERVICE MODEL

Understand the service before configuring it

VQVPN is a network acceleration service for cross-border access. Its workflow can be divided into four connected parts: the account confirms your identity, the plan determines available traffic, the subscription delivers route information to the client, and the client establishes the connection on a specific device. Each step has a clear role across the website, user panel, and client, so nothing needs to be completed by guesswork.

New users often confuse buying a plan with downloading a client. The client is only the interface; the subscription in your account determines which routes can be imported. The usual order is to create an account, choose a monthly subscription or traffic package, open the user panel after payment, retrieve the subscription, and import it on the relevant platform. Opening a client without subscription information usually produces no usable routes; having a subscription without choosing a suitable route makes the source of a problem harder to identify.

VQVPN covers 90+ countries and 200+ routes, with support for Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. These figures describe the available range, not a promise that one route will suit every region or time of day. In practice, first choose a broad region based on the location of the target website or app, then test routes within that region. The routes page shows countries, cities, and route types; see the locations page for the current list.

Decision point for this chapter: If the relationship between your account, plan, subscription, and client is still unclear, do not repeatedly reinstall software. Complete the account and plan steps first; troubleshooting will be much easier afterward.

How the quick guide and complete guide work together

The quick-start guide focuses on the core path—account setup, purchase, import, and verification—for users who already know which device they will use. This guide adds platform differences, traffic-package rules, route types, subscription updates, system permissions, and ways to diagnose failed connections. The two pages are not duplicates: the tutorial explains “what to do now,” while this guide explains “why it works this way and how to maintain it.”

The preparation stage requires only three checks. First, identify your main device and operating system. Second, decide whether your usage is better suited to monthly traffic or a long-term traffic package. Third, prepare a username and password you can store securely. VQVPN requires no email address for registration; a username and password are enough. Subscription details are part of your account credentials, and the sections below explain how to store and update them.

Do not treat sample text as a real subscription URL. When a format needs to be shown, use an obviously fake value such as https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN. A real subscription is provided by the user panel when the account is in good standing; this site does not publish static subscription links.

02 / PLAN SELECTION

Choose a plan by traffic cycle

VQVPN offers two purchase options: monthly subscriptions and traffic packages. A monthly subscription resets its traffic each month on the activation date, making it suitable for regular use and monthly budgeting. A traffic package lasts until its traffic is used and never expires, making it suitable for irregular usage or for saving traffic for later. The two products should be evaluated differently, not by comparing price figures alone.

Monthly subscriptions come in three tiers: ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Traffic resets monthly on the activation date. If you upgrade during the cycle, the price difference is prorated based on the remaining days. Before upgrading, check your current plan, remaining traffic, and remaining cycle, then decide whether a higher tier is necessary. If you only need a short-term increase, confirm how the upgraded traffic is calculated; a monthly subscription balance is not the same as a traffic-package balance.

Traffic packages come in three sizes: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They last until the traffic is used and never expire. They suit users who want to retain traffic over a longer period, but choose according to actual usage rather than buying more than necessary just because the package is larger. The plans page lists monthly subscriptions and traffic packages in full; before payment, rely on that page and the order details shown in the panel.

Traffic package¥158/300GB;¥358/1000GB;¥658/3000GBLasts until used; never expiresChoose based on long-term retention needs and expected usage

What to check before payment

Before paying, check the account name, product type, traffic allowance, and order total. VQVPN supports Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT. The payment pages may differ, but the confirmation standard is the same: the order status must be confirmed in the user panel. A redirect from the payment page alone does not prove that the subscription is active. If the payment page is interrupted, return to the order list and check the status before retrying to avoid creating duplicate orders.

Plan selection should also take device count into account. VQVPN supports unlimited devices, so the same account can be used on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Linux, and other devices, but that does not mean every device requires the same setup. Each device needs a suitable client with the account subscription imported. Users with multiple devices should configure their most frequently used device first, then expand to other platforms.

It is also worth understanding the refund process in advance. The service provides 7-day no-questions-asked refunds. To apply, keep your order details and open a ticket or service entry from the user panel, then follow the page instructions. A refund is part of the order process; deleting the client or clearing local configuration is not a substitute. Removing the client does not change the order status or trigger a refund automatically.

03 / ACCOUNT FLOW

Account setup, ordering, and order confirmation

Registration starts in the user panel. Select “Log in” in the upper-right corner of the marketing page to open the login page, then use the “Start Free” button on the landing page to reach the account creation entry. A username and password are all that is required; no email address is needed. Choose a username that will remain easy to identify, store the password separately, and do not combine it with subscription links, payment notes, or device names in one text block.

After creating the account, first confirm that the panel displays the account overview correctly, then open the plans page. This separates account issues from payment issues. If the page does not redirect after registration, reopen the login entry and confirm the username and password. If the account overview is visible but the order page behaves unexpectedly, record the order details and open a service ticket. Avoid repeatedly clicking submit across multiple pages, especially when the payment page already shows a processing message.

Account creation steps

  1. Open the VQVPN home page, select “Start Free,” and enter the user-panel registration flow.
  2. Enter a username and password. Check your input method, capitalization, and leading or trailing spaces, then submit and wait for the panel to redirect.
  3. Open the account overview, confirm the account identity and menu status, then open the plan list.
  4. Choose a monthly subscription or traffic package based on the traffic cycle, and verify the price, allowance, and order details.
  5. Pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT, then return to the panel and check the order status.

These steps may look simple, but each has a clear confirmation point. Registration is confirmed when you can log in; plan selection when the product name, price, and traffic match; payment when the panel order status updates; and subscription retrieval when the subscription entry is visible. Do not treat a brief redirect after payment as final confirmation—the account panel status is the reliable source.

Protecting account credentials: Store your username, password, and subscription information separately. Do not paste subscription contents into group chats, screenshots, or anywhere outside the service ticket process; if you suspect the subscription has been exposed, return to the panel promptly, check its status, and follow the support process.

When the order status has not updated

Refresh the order list first instead of paying again immediately. Check whether the network was interrupted during the payment redirect, then see whether the order is marked pending, completed, or canceled. If the amount has been charged but the status remains unchanged, prepare the order number, payment method, and time, then use the user-panel ticket entry to explain the issue. Do not submit a payment password or enter unrelated sensitive information on a public page.

If you selected the wrong plan, do not import the subscription or repeatedly create new orders. Confirm the current order status, then check whether the panel allows an adjustment. A mid-cycle monthly upgrade prorates the difference based on the remaining days; use the panel as the source of truth. Traffic packages never expire and suit users who do not want monthly resets, but the selected product must still be handled through the order process.

If login works and the order is complete but the subscription entry has not appeared, log out and back in once so the panel can reload the account status. If nothing changes, submit the account and order details through a ticket. The more specific the report, the easier it is to distinguish an order-status issue from subscription generation or client-import problems.

04 / SUBSCRIPTION

Retrieve and protect your subscription in the panel

After the order is complete, open the download or account section of the user panel to retrieve your subscription information. This site does not display real subscription URLs on marketing pages; subscriptions are available only through the logged-in user panel. This keeps account status, plan validity, and subscription contents connected while reducing the chance of copying credentials into unrelated pages.

Clients generally support two import methods: copy the subscription URL provided by the panel, or use system sharing when the client supports it. Copy from the beginning of the complete field to the end; do not include explanatory page text, and do not add spaces, quotation marks, or line breaks. The query parameters in a subscription URL are part of the credential, and any missing character can cause a client update to fail.

The subscription lifecycle

A subscription is not a one-time configuration file. The client stores an update endpoint and can retrieve route information again through its update function. Keep the device online during an update and confirm that the account plan is still active. If the client reports a subscription parsing error, copy it again from the browser or panel and check that it is complete. If the panel cannot provide it either, check the order and account status.

Do not place a subscription URL in public notes, screenshots, or code repositories. Never use a real URL in a tutorial example. To illustrate the format, use a fake value such as https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN; it has no connection capability. Real subscriptions can only be retrieved from the panel, and expired or exposed credentials should also be handled through the panel and service entry.

Import approaches across clients

Different clients may label the feature “Subscription Management,” “Profiles,” “Remote Configuration,” or “Add Subscription,” but the logic is largely the same: find the remote-subscription entry, paste the URL, save it, and run an update. After importing, confirm that the route list appears before selecting a route. Do not judge network quality before the configuration has updated successfully, and do not mistake an import failure for an unavailable route.

If an old subscription is still shown in the client, check its update time and source before deciding whether to remove it. Multiple subscriptions can duplicate the route list and make troubleshooting harder. In most cases, keep only the subscription associated with the current account; before deleting one, confirm that it can still be retrieved from the panel.

Security boundary: Any unofficial page that asks for your account password, payment password, or complete subscription URL is not part of the normal import process. A client needs subscription information, not an account password pasted into a third-party configuration field.

05 / FIVE PLATFORMS

Complete imports on five platforms

VQVPN supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. The core workflow is the same across platforms, but permission locations, configuration entry points, and background behavior differ. Install clients from the download entry in the user panel. When a purchased plan and account status meet the requirements, the panel provides the relevant client entry. Marketing pages do not provide direct installer links; both clients and subscriptions should be handled through the panel.

PlatformSystem items to confirm firstCommon names for the import locationWhat to check after connecting
WindowsAllow network extensions or respond to system firewall promptsSubscriptions, profiles, remote configurationTaskbar status and route list
macOSAllow network extensions and permission prompts in System SettingsProfiles, Subscription Management, ConfigurationMenu bar status and system network permissions
iOSAllow the VPN configuration the first time you connectSubscriptions, remote configuration, profilesConnection indicator in the system status bar
AndroidAllow VPN connection requests and background operationSubscription links, configuration, remote subscriptionsNotification-area status and app permissions
LinuxConfirm desktop-environment or command-line client permissionsRemote configuration, profiles, subscriptionsClient logs and route changes

Windows: start with permission prompts

After obtaining the client on Windows, install it and open the program. If Windows asks whether to allow network access or create a network component during the first connection, read the prompt and confirm as appropriate. Installation does not import the subscription. Open Subscription Management, paste the URL retrieved from the panel, save it, and run an update. Once the route list appears, choose a route in the target region and connect.

On Windows, focus troubleshooting on the firewall, network adapters, and background shutdowns. If the program says it is connected but the browser is unchanged, disconnect and try another route in the same region, and confirm that the client has not been closed by the system. If updating fails, return to Subscription Management and copy the URL again. If the list updates but every connection fails, check system network permissions and whether other network software is taking control of the connection.

macOS: handle network-extension permissions

The first time you use macOS, System Settings may show a network-extension prompt under Privacy & Security or a network-related section. Allow the client to use the required network components, then return to the client and import the subscription. If you install the program but reject the system prompt, the route list may appear while a connection fails to stay active. Do not keep clicking Connect; check the denied permission in System Settings instead.

The exact menus in a macOS client vary by client, but the decision order is unchanged: installation complete, system permissions granted, subscription updated, route selected, connection verified. Starting at login is a preference, not a requirement for a successful connection. After confirming stable operation, enable launch at login or manual startup as needed.

iOS and Android: watch for system control

iOS displays a system confirmation to add a VPN configuration the first time you connect. Check the request source before confirming, then return to the client and update the subscription. iOS emphasizes system-level permissions; if the app says connected but the system status bar shows no connection indicator, disconnect and authorize it again. After an app update or network change, reopen the client to confirm that the configuration is still present.

Android typically asks for permission to establish a VPN connection. Some systems restrict background activity, which can interrupt the connection when the screen turns off. If this happens, review battery management, background activity, and notification permissions so the client can remain active as needed. Do not mistake power-saving restrictions for a route failure; keep the client open in the foreground to confirm the basic connection before adjusting background policies.

Linux: treat command-line output as a clue

Linux users may use a desktop client or manage configuration from the command line. Either way, first confirm that the subscription file or remote configuration has updated successfully, then examine the connection stages in the logs. Command-line examples should use only fake URLs, for example:

curl -L "https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN" -o subscription.example
grep -n "example" subscription.example

The address above demonstrates command structure only; it is not a VQVPN subscription URL. In actual use, copy the real URL from the panel and avoid saving commands containing credentials in shared history. On Linux, also check NetworkManager, system routes, and other persistent proxies that may be modifying the default path.

06 / CONNECTION CHECK

Verify the connection layer by layer

Do not verify a connection by looking only at the client button color. A complete check covers at least four layers: whether the client remains connected, whether the system accepts the network configuration, whether the target website or app opens, and whether real functions such as video, images, and login work normally. Each layer tests something different; skipping one can mix up DNS, route, app-cache, and account-permission issues.

Layer one: client status

After connecting, watch whether the status remains active instead of switching apps immediately. The route list should remain available, and the client should show the current route or connection status. If the status returns to disconnected immediately, first try another route in the same region and check system permissions. If several routes fail to connect, inspect the local network, other network-control software, and client logs.

Layer two: system and browser

Open an ordinary webpage and check whether text, images, and scripts load consistently. Opening only the home page is not enough, since it may come from the local cache. Refresh the page and open a new site to see whether access remains available. If the browser cannot open pages while the client reports a connection, first remove conflicting browser proxy settings, confirm the system time and network status, and reconnect.

DNS problems often appear as domains failing to open while some cached pages still work. Do not change every route in succession. First exit other proxy tools, reconnect the client, and test with another browser. If only one app fails while others work, the issue is more likely to be that app’s proxy, cache, or account settings.

Layer three: target application

Streaming, AI tools, and productivity services may use different regional policies. Choose a route based on the service’s region, then check whether login, page loading, and media playback behave consistently. For video, start with a low-load page and observe quality changes, buffering, and audio-video sync; do not treat one brief loading result as a long-term guarantee. For AI tools, check web access, login, and conversation requests separately, as different policies may affect each one.

If only one website behaves unexpectedly, first check whether the site itself is undergoing maintenance, then try another route in the same region. If changing regions restores access, regional matching may be the key factor. If every region fails, return to the client status, subscription update time, and local network. The locations page can help narrow the choice by country, city, and route type, but it does not replace checking the actual account status.

Layer four: record reproducible details

For persistent problems, record the platform, client name, target app, selected region, connection time, whether the subscription was just updated, and the exact error message. Do not write only “it doesn’t work,” and do not send the complete subscription URL. A service ticket needs reproducible clues, not account credentials. If the issue occurs at night or after a network change, note that environmental change without trying to infer the cause.

Recommended troubleshooting order: Update the subscription again → try another route in the same region → check system permissions → pause other network tools → test with another browser or app → record the result and submit a ticket.

07 / ROUTINE CARE

Routine maintenance, updates, and renewals

Stable use depends on more than the initial setup. The client stores subscription and local state, and system updates, network changes, or plan changes may require another subscription update. The goal of routine maintenance is not to keep changing settings, but to keep the account status, subscription contents, and client configuration aligned. If nothing is wrong, there is no need to repeatedly delete and reinstall the client.

When to update the subscription

After buying a new plan, upgrading a monthly subscription, noticing that the client’s route list is clearly outdated, or seeing that certain routes fail consistently, run a subscription update first. Confirm that the current network works before updating, then check whether the route list has refreshed. If the update button does nothing, close and reopen the client, then confirm that the subscription URL still comes from the current account. Do not manually edit the subscription text after an update fails; removing or changing characters can easily break its format.

A monthly subscription resets traffic each month on the activation date, so review usage together with the activation date and current cycle. A traffic package lasts until used and never expires; distinguish it from the monthly balance when checking usage. A mid-cycle monthly upgrade prorates the difference based on the remaining days. Before and after upgrading, rely on the allowance and order status in the user panel rather than an old cache shown by the client.

Organizing multi-device use

VQVPN supports unlimited devices. In a multi-device setup, use clear device names such as “Work computer” or “Home tablet,” but never include a password or complete subscription in the name. After importing on each device, verify the update and connection separately. Do not copy a local configuration exported from one device over every operating system, since permissions and paths may differ.

If a device will not be used for a long time, you can remove its local client configuration, but first confirm that the subscription can still be retrieved from the account. When changing devices, install the client provided in the panel on the new device, then retrieve the subscription again from the user panel. Before selling or handing over the old device, sign out, remove the client configuration, and clear saved account information from the browser.

Checks before and after renewal

Before renewing or buying a new cycle, review the current plan, remaining traffic, order history, and expected usage. Monthly subscriptions suit ongoing use, while traffic packages suit long-term retention. If your usage has changed, compare both products again instead of repeating the previous choice. After payment, confirm the order status and update the client subscription so it does not continue using an expired cache.

If duplicate orders, an abnormal post-payment status, or a refund request occurs, keep the order information and use the service entry in the user panel. The service fact is a 7-day no-questions-asked refund, but the application must still be submitted through the order process. Do not change the local time, delete the app, or create repeated orders to resolve an account issue; these actions do not change server-side order records.

Make maintenance a low-effort habit

After changing devices, upgrading the system, or changing plans, follow this sequence once: “log in—check the order—update the subscription—verify the connection.” Normally, update only when the client status looks abnormal, the route list is outdated, or the target app fails repeatedly. Store the complete subscription URL in a private password manager rather than a regular synchronized text drive; when reimporting, retrieving the latest value from the user panel is safer.

08 / ADVANCED USE

Route selection and advanced troubleshooting

Advanced usage is not about memorizing one fixed route, but about building a repeatable selection method. Routes can be understood by country, city, and route type. IEPL dedicated routes generally emphasize an independent path and stable cross-border transmission; relay routes forward traffic through an intermediate node and can serve as an alternative when direct paths are unsuitable; direct routes have a simpler structure, but the actual experience still depends on the local network, target region, and current path conditions. The locations page explains route types; choose based on the target app rather than the name alone.

Route typeHow to understand itGood scenarios to try firstTroubleshooting direction
IEPL dedicated routeA comparatively independent cross-border pathServices requiring sustained access or greater stabilityCheck client permissions, subscription updates, and target region
RelayForwarded through an intermediate nodeAn alternative when direct routes perform poorlyTry another route in the same region and avoid running other proxies simultaneously
DirectA comparatively simple path structureSuitable network conditions where fewer intermediate steps are preferredCheck the local network, DNS, and app proxy settings

Choose routes by target region, not by name

To access a service in a particular region, first choose the country matching the service’s region, then filter by city and route type. Different regions may affect content, login checks, and service visibility. For cross-region collaboration, avoid switching repeatedly between countries, since an app may retain an old session, cache the previous region, or trigger additional verification. Fix on one usable region first, then adjust after the task is complete.

Use a two-step method for route selection. First, choose two different route types in the same country, connect to each, and test the target app. Second, keep the one better suited to the current task and retain the other as a backup. This is easier to diagnose than importing a large number of configurations at once. Video, web access, file synchronization, and AI tools have different requirements, so keep separate route notes for key tasks without turning them into unverifiable speed or success-rate promises.

Distinguish client issues from route issues

If no routes can be imported, first check the subscription URL and client configuration. If the route list updates but every connection fails, check system permissions, the local network, and other network software. If only one route fails, try another in the same region. If webpages work but one app fails, check that app’s proxy and cache. This classification reduces unnecessary reinstalls and random route changes.

Logs are valuable for advanced troubleshooting. Record the stage where the error occurs: retrieving the subscription, parsing the configuration, establishing the connection, resolving the domain, or opening the target app. Different stages point to different causes. A failed subscription retrieval is not necessarily a route problem, and a DNS resolution failure does not necessarily mean the account is invalid. When submitting a ticket, include only the necessary error text and redact the username, complete subscription URL, and all credentials.

Prevent system and app proxies from taking over twice

Many connection problems occur because two tools modify the system proxy or routes at the same time. During troubleshooting, exit other proxies, network-acceleration tools, packet-capture tools, and debugging tools, leaving one client for testing. If the browser has its own proxy configured, temporarily restore system settings or disable the manual proxy. After confirming VQVPN works alone, restore the other tools one at a time and observe the result after each change to identify the conflict.

Boundaries for advanced configuration

For advanced settings, use the official options provided by the client and do not rewrite subscription contents casually. You can adjust routes, update intervals, system-start preferences, and standard in-app routing options, but do not put account credentials in scripts or submit a real subscription URL to a third-party conversion service. If command-line automation is genuinely needed, use a private local environment variable or a temporary workflow generated by the panel, and ensure terminal history does not retain the complete credential.

When the goal is video, productivity, or AI tools, define what “working” means first: the page opens, the account can log in, the main function completes, and the connection stays active. Do not infer long-term performance from a single result or replace current observations with generic parameters found online. For details on macOS permissions, 4K playback, or route selection, continue with the blog’s macOS client setup guide and 4K quality and bandwidth guide.

Advanced principle: Change one variable at a time. Fix the device and target app before changing routes; confirm the subscription update before judging the connection; rule out local-tool conflicts before reporting a service issue.

REFERENCE COMPLETE

Complete a reproducible configuration

After reading this guide, complete one full setup in the following order: create an account, choose a monthly subscription or traffic package, confirm the order, log in to the panel and retrieve the subscription, import it on your main device, grant system permissions, connect to a route in the target region, and verify the client, browser, and target app. Store the subscription securely afterward and update it again when the plan changes, the system is upgraded, or the route list becomes outdated.

If you only want to complete the first setup quickly, return to the quick-start guide. If you are comparing products, see the plans page. If you need to filter by country and route type, see the locations page. For account, order, or connection issues, open a service ticket from the user panel and provide the platform, route region, error stage, and reproduction steps.
